Export Your Data
You can download a complete copy of the data associated with your account at any time. This supports your right of access (GDPR/DSGVO Art. 15) and data portability (Art. 20): the export is a structured, machine-readable archive you can keep or transfer elsewhere.
How to export
- Go to Settings → Account → Data & Privacy.
- Click Request Data Export.
- The archive is built in the background. When it's ready, we email you a secure download link — you don't need to keep the page open. (If you happen to stay on the page, a download link also appears there.)
The emailed link is valid for 6 hours, works once, and requires no login. Only account administrators can export the full account data, and the request is rate-limited to a few per hour.
What's in the archive
The download is a ZIP file containing:
manifest.json— the schema version, a per-category record count, and notes on what was redacted.README.txt— a description of the contents (English and German).data/*.json— configuration and lower-volume records, as formatted JSON.data/*.ndjson— high-volume time-series (check results, log rollups, crawl pages…), as newline-delimited JSON — one record per line. Read it line by line, e.g.jq -c . data/check_results.ndjson.
Categories include: your profile and team members, account/branding settings, monitors and checks, incidents (including AI root-cause analysis and updates), notification channels and rules, status pages and their subscribers, maintenance windows, on-call schedules and escalation policies, sessions and known devices, API-token metadata, passkey metadata, audit log, in-app notifications, consent records, a billing summary, and the full check/log history.
What's excluded (for your security)
Secrets are never included in plaintext:
- Passwords, two-factor recovery codes, and API-token secret values.
- Notification channel credentials and webhook secrets.
- Credentials embedded in monitor/check settings (basic-auth passwords, bearer/API tokens, authorization headers) are masked as
********. - Status-page subscriber confirmation/unsubscribe tokens (the contact address itself is included).
WARNING
The archive contains personal data such as IP addresses and e-mail addresses. Store it securely and share it only over encrypted channels. The download link is single-use and the file is deleted from our servers shortly after it is generated.
Deleting your data
Exporting does not delete anything. To erase your account (GDPR Art. 17), use Delete Account on the same page. See Data Retention for how long we keep history while your account is active.
Resellers
If your account is managed by a reseller, your reseller can also produce this export on your behalf as the data controller. Contact them for a copy, or export it yourself with the steps above.
