Reseller Pricing & Contract Terms

Wholesale pricing for hosters and agencies who resell Hoppla under their own brand. These are the same figures published on hoppla.dev/for-hosters; if the two ever disagree, the website is authoritative and this page is stale.

Partner tiers

Every tier is a monthly base with a monitor allowance, plus anything over it at the tier rate. You are always billed the cheapest tier for your actual volume, not the one your monitor count nominally falls into — if 400 monitors are cheaper on Growth than on Partner plus overage, you pay Growth.

TierMonthly baseMonitors includedEach additional monitorCost per monitor at the allowance
Partner€149100€1.20€1.49
Growth€249250€0.90€1.00
Scale€6991,000€0.60€0.70
Enterprise€1,9995,000€0.35€0.40
Custom—5,000+quotedtypically from ~€0.30

Paying a year up front takes 10% off the base. The allowance and the per-monitor rate are unchanged; only the base moves.

TierMonthlyYearly, per monthYearly total
Partner€149€134€1,608
Growth€249€224€2,688
Scale€699€629€7,548
Enterprise€1,999€1,799€21,588

All prices in EUR and are total prices. No VAT is charged or shown, under the German small-business rule (§ 19 UStG). A monitor is one URL with every check type enabled on it (uptime from two regions, TLS, DNS, security headers, Lighthouse, broken links, and so on) — not one check. Compared to tools that count each check as a monitor, one Hoppla monitor replaces several of theirs.

Contract

  • Minimum term: 12 months, running from the day your contract starts. It is a commitment to twelve months of service, not to a particular way of paying for it.
  • Pay monthly or yearly. Monthly is the list price. A year up front is 10% less. Both carry the same minimum term.
  • First month free on a new contract.
  • Monitor overage is pro-rated by the day. We take each day's peak monitor count across your own team and every team you manage, and charge only the days you were over your allowance. Four days over the limit costs four days, not a month. Days inside the allowance cost nothing.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at renewal.
  • Renewal follows your payment frequency — monthly contracts renew monthly, yearly contracts yearly — and is automatic.
  • Cancellation is possible once the minimum term is served, and not before. After that there is no notice period: you can schedule it any time up to the day before your next renewal, and it takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Switching between monthly and yearly takes effect at your next renewal, in either direction. It does not restart the minimum term.
  • Currency: EUR. Payment terms: net 14 days, by invoice.

Your retail pricing

You set your own retail price; Hoppla does not dictate it. The number to price from is your cost per monitor at your volume (last column above): everything you charge above it is yours. Monitoring is commonly resold between €3 and €10 a site, or bundled into hosting plans at €15–50 per customer.

At €5 a site the programme pays for itself from about 30 sites; at €3 from about 50.

What is included at every tier

  • Unlimited managed teams — one isolated account per customer, with row-level security in the database rather than a tenant column and a WHERE clause.
  • Full white-label branding — brand name, logo (light and dark), colours, alert prefix, footer, and a custom login page.
  • Custom SMTP — alert emails from your own sending domain.
  • Partner SSO — single sign-on for managed team users.
  • Portal custom domains — your customer portal and status pages on hostnames you control, with certificates handled for you.
  • Feature overrides — adjust limits per managed team (monitors, status pages, retention). Managed teams are entitled to everything on the Pro plan by default.
  • Webhook events — team provisioning, trial expiry, incidents and more.
  • Email suppression — intercept platform emails and send them yourself.
  • Usage API — per-team usage metrics for your own billing.
  • Reseller API — full CRUD for teams, monitors and configuration.
  • All check types on the reseller's own account, with unlimited monitors there.
  • 730-day data retention.
